Senior People Manager - US
Our Senior People Manager will focus on building and scaling our people infrastructure and programs that support a positive and engaging employee experience. You’ll act as a point of contact for programs such as performance management and training, and help build out future programs that touch the employee life cycle of all employees (such as career development). You’ll also be a business partner to key leaders from our US team and proactively learn about their workforce needs and address gaps where relevant.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-driven, organized, and proactive person to shape people operations in a startup / hybrid-remote environment.
This role will report directly to the Director of People and Culture, located in Israel. This role will touch people processes & programs for both US and other global locations. Candidates must be proficient in English (both verbal and written).
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the first touch point to help employees resolve questions and challenges related to people-related inquiries. (e.a compliance)
- Provide managers and leadership with support and guidance through all employment lifecycle events
- Plan and execute People processes, including onboarding, new hire check-ins, performance management, salary reviews, recognition, and engagement surveys.
- Maintain data integrity across our People tech stack throughout all stages of the employee lifecycle.
- Partner with leadership to recommend, research, and implement new People programs and tools with a focus on scaling the organization
- Continuously drive improvement, scalability and innovation for all People programs
- Facilitate change management processes and support manager throughout change to drive business goals
- Proactively drive employee communications via Slack and other tooling
- Provide support on talent acquisition and employment brand as relevant to flow of hiring and in-office activities
Qualifications
- 5+ years prior experience in HR or People Operations, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Prior experience at a start-up in high-growth mode (SaaS or otherwise) is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with talent acquisition processes
- Experience working in a global company and working with employees in multiple geo regions
- Proven ability to design, drive, and execute on initiatives, from vision to implementation
- Proven ability to proactively identify opportunities to build and drive process across an organization
- Proven ability to drive improvement, scalability and innovation for People programs
- Ability to identify appropriate stakeholders and get diverse buy-in
- Knowledge of current People & Culture (HR) best practices preferred
- Proven attention to detail
- Excellent writing, reading, and speaking in English and Hebrew
- Proven strong interpersonal and consultative skills
- Proven ability to work independently when needed and exercise good judgment to determine if others need to be brought into the conversation
