We are looking for an experienced and proactive GTM Engineer to join our Marketing team. This role will live at the forefront of marketing technology, and will provide a competitive edge to the LinearB marketing team by using AI to increase efficiency, while safeguarding against the risks of the emerging technology. There’s also a strong desire for this role to work cross functionally with other LinearB teams to share knowledge and lessons around AI-assisted workflows.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing operations and technology, a well-honed understanding of marketing strategy and tactics, and a strong interest to apply artificial intelligence in the service of a creative and supportive team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal stakeholders on the marketing team to define use cases for AI automation.
  • Use commercially available AI and automation tools to design and build a set of AI-assisted, human-in-the-loop workflows that will, inter alia:
    • Monitor competitive developments and industry changes online.
    • Automatically suggest changes to company messaging based on external developments.
    • Generate social media and advertising messaging.
    • Create draft blog content based on long-form content.
    • Add content to publishing pathways for website, email, social media, and advertising platforms.
  • Develop protocols and procedures to provide the highest-quality work product and ensure human review prior to publication. 
  • Train the team on processes and best practices related to AI prompt engineering, AI safety, and automation. 
  • Identify a set of metrics to measure the effectiveness of AI workflows and create reports to track results.
  • Monitor the implementation of the workflows and make adjustments or rebuild where necessary

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years as the administrator of a modern martech stack.
  • BA/BS from an accredited institution.
  • Familiarity with Marketing strategies, with proven experience translating those strategies into processes using an integrated technology stack.
  • Experience using internal platform capabilities, APIs, and automation tools like Zapier to connect systems, manage the marketing database, sync data between systems, and automate tasks.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools and/or features to improve marketing efficiency.
  • Proficiency with prompt engineering and the creation of custom chat agents. 
  • Knowledge of different AI models, especially those from OpenAI and Anthropic, along with their relative benefits and drawbacks. 
  • Deep understanding of Marketo and Salesforce. 
  • An entrepreneurial mindset that thrives on building solutions, learning from failures, and making iterative improvements. 

Advantages:

  • Familiarity with programming languages and their AI libraries, especially Python and Javascript.
  • Experience working with data warehouses, cloud architectures, and container systems like Docker or Kubernetes. 
  • Functional capability with software development lifecycle tools such as Github, Gitlab, etc.
  • Knowledge of agentic AI architectures and experience writing code to build generative agentic workflows.
