We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our platform management team. This team is responsible for the development, scaling, and maintenance of our core platform, which serves as the backbone for our product offerings.

You’ll work on backend technologies, designing and implementing features that drive our platform’s growth, stability, performance and intelligence.

In this role, you will also help drive the integration of modern AI capabilities into our platform, including working with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-driven workflows, and emerging paradigms such as Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, design and build highly scalable and high-quality web applications by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes
• Work with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar frameworks to enable structured interactions between systems and AI models
• Raise the bar on engineering excellence by improving standard methodologies, producing best in class of code, documentation, testing, and monitoring
• Identifying and resolving technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Product managers, DevOps, and Support) to ensure smooth feature releases and platform stability
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies in backend engineering and AI/LLM ecosystems, and drive their adoption where relevant.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js, Python, and TypeScript
• Strong system design skills and experience building scalable, distributed systems (microservices, event-driven architectures)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Proven experience designing and building robust RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and performance optimization
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience in building scalable and resilient systems using microservices, with expertise in service decomposition, communication patterns (e.g., REST, event-driven), and managing inter-service dependencies
• Experience building or integrating AI-powered product features
• Independent, autodidact with excellent problem-solving and a passion for learning cutting-edge technologies

Advantage

• Previous experience in a fast-paced startup, ideally within a SaaS company, and familiarity with the unique challenges of scaling a product.
• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar agent/tooling frameworks
• Experience working on infrastructure or core platform teams
